Even though The Beatles started five decades ago, Jordan Brady, a sophomore, is still their biggest fan.

“My dad introduced them to me at a very young age. It was probably kindergarten,” said Brady. When asked why they are his favorite band, he simply replied, “They’re the best band ever!”

Out of the six members of The Beatles, George Harrison is his favorite. He was the lead guitarist for the band. Although Harrison was a talented musician, he was also a talented writer. He composed nineteen songs for The Beatles, including fan favorites such as “Here Comes The Sun” and “While My Guitar Gently Weeps.”

“Harrison is my favorite member because he played a lot of interesting instruments,” said Brady. Harrison played twenty-six different instruments. He was best known for his playing of the guitar and sitar, but he also played xylophone, harmonica, violin and many others.

After pondering it for a little while, Brady decided his favorite song is “I am the Walrus”, written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon. His all time favorite album is The Magical Mystery Tour which features classics such as “Hello, Goodbye” and “All You Need is Love.”

Brady expresses his love for The Beatles not through just listening to their music, but also rocking his Beatles fan gear. He has his poster of the band hanging in his bedroom and he also has his favorite Beatles t-shirt that he loves to wear.

Brady goes to show that it doesn’t matter how old or young you are to listen to certain bands; some music is just timeless.
