Summer dance party tracks
1. Paloma Faith- Stone Cold Sober (Cicada Remix)
Paloma Faith is a brand new artist out of Hackney, London. Although frequently compared to the likes of Amy Winehouse and Adele, her voice isn’t nearly as polished. Faith’s first single, “Stone Cold Sober”, is lackluster at best, without a decent chorus or hook for a successful pop-song. But remixed in the hands capable of UK electronic band Cicada, however, the song is transformed into one of the freshest tracks of the year, and of course, the summer.

2. Ryskee- Leave Me Amor
This bubbly song is the first from Ryskee, a new pop duo comprised of the already well-known Play Paul, and Danish singer Leslie Ming. The track is simple and infectious, with sweet fizzy lyrics that don’t really matter. Leave Me Amore is a perfect track for cruising the to the beach on a warm sunny day.

3. Dizzee Rascal- Bonkers featuring Armand van Helden
A number one single in the UK, rapper Dizzee Rascal and producer/DJ Armand van Helden joined forces to create this great party tune. Mr. Rascal rhymes over Helden’s thumpy house backing, “Some people think I’m bonkers, but I just think I’m free/ And I’m just livin’ my life, there’s nothing crazy ’bout meeee,” for a chorus that no one just miss out on.

4. MGMT- Time To Pretend (High Contrast Remix)
Last year MGMT’s debut album, Oracular Spectacular, was not only one of the best albums of the summer, but one of the best albums of the year. Welsh drum and bass producer and DJ Lincoln Berrett, aka High Contrast, remixed the opening song from Oracular and transformed it into an upbeat dance track. The remix is both clean and busy at the same time, and it is easy to distinguish High Contrast’s work from the rest.

5. Black Eyed Peas- Boom Boom Pow (David Guetta Remix)
Everyone knows the will.i.am, Fergie, and the rest of the Black Eyed Peas are back with some hot dance tracks, especially the first single, “Boom Boom Pow” from their brand new album. After spending a night clubbing in Australia, will.i.am felt inspired to give the group’s new sound a more electriconic vibe. As successful as the original cut of “Boom Boom Pow” is, it doesn’t stand up to the remix by veteran French dj David Guetta.
6. Kid Cudi- I Make Her Say (I Poke Her Face) featuringt Kanye West, Common and Lady Gaga
Obviously one of the most popular artists of the year, Lady Gaga’s hit song “Poker Face” is back in this brand new track by rapper Kid Cudi. The song features rhymes by Cudi himself, as well as Kanye West and Common. The beat is fresh and far more laid back than the original song
