As I wandered into Ted’s Montana Grill, I had no idea what to expect. I’d discovered the location purely by chance, overhearing two strangers at Triangle Town Center rave about the quality of their unique bison burgers, their specialty.
The atmosphere hit me like a refreshing breeze, the lighting throughout the entire restaurant was dim, the tables were spread far apart, and the booths had high backs to make the entire dining experience feel more private.
Upon being seated, I was instantly greeted by my waitress, who happily prattled on with me about my prom plans prior to passing me a menu.
The food was the highlight of the trip. The menu was filled with a large variety of choices, including sandwiches, soups, salads, and an array of unique burgers, crafted with both beef and bison.
The waitress patiently dealt with my endless questions such as: “What’s the difference between beef and bison?” and “What animal is a bison burger made from?”
The food arrived within minutes of placing my order, cooked exactly as I’d asked with a plastic American flag on the side.
The food was succulent, warm, and moist, by far the best burger I have eaten in North Carolina.
At last, it was time to pay the bill, which was surprisingly low given the quality of the food. An average entrée at Ted’s costs around ten dollars, though prices can vary.
Overall, Ted’s Montana Grill is an excellent restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and excellent quality food given the affordable prices, and I would not hesitate to dine there again.
Will Bennett is a remarkable staff writer who was recruited from his early days. In fact, before Bennett could even speak, the Mycenaean took serious interest in him. While many consider this practice to be unethical, the Leesville editors disagree. Alex Stewart claims that his contributions to the staff have been “Pullitzer Prize” worthy.
In addition to his writing, Bennett enjoys animals, Freshberry Frozen Yogurt, Hip-hop music, and long walks on the beach. He can often be found on his seaside estate composing original music, writing moving poetry, and balling with old basketball greats like Larry Bird and Michael Jordan.
