Four years ago, Leesville’s Class of 2013 entered high school as an entourage of jittery freshmen, looking forward to senior year from Day One on.
Now, as those same students wind down their time at 8409 Leesville Rd., they want to bring back the memories for a medley of nostalgia.
The Senior Assembly in May will feature this year’s senior slideshow, an annual Leesville tradition.
“It’s a montage of memories from our years at Leesville,” said Claire Coward, senior and slideshow organizer. Seniors are encouraged to send in photos of their favorite moments from the last four years to leesvilleseniors13@yahoo.com in advance of the assembly.
The requirements for submitted photos aren’t strict; Coward is simply looking for “pictures of people and their friends.”
The photos “can be [of] school activities or just hanging out,” she said. “Anything that people want to remember the year by.”
She hopes to include every graduating senior in the slideshow. Last year’s production fell just a few bodies short, as 95% of the 2012 seniors were shown at least once.
“It’s a nice way to look back on our years here,” said Coward.
