This week’s episode of Real GOT7 was especially fun and the guys looked especially delicious (wink wink). Adorned in superhero themed aprons, the boys gear up to fight for the title of Ramen God in a cute cooking competition.
After splitting into teams, the members engage in a game of “rock, paper, scissors” to decide how many ingredients each team should have. The winner receives three ingredients, second place gets two and last place receives one. Mark represented The Foreigner Team, JR represented the Jinpo Team and JB represented Tojong.
The game is intense, but JR takes it home for the Jinpo Team. Mark takes second place and JB comes dead last. Things look bleak for Team Tojong.
After receiving the ingredients, the teams get to cooking. Once the teams are finished, judging commences.
Members of Real GOT7 broadcast team taste each item one-by-one to determine the winner of the challenge. The creations will be scored in categories: 10 points for creativity, 10 point for visual appeal, 10 points for taste and 20 points for charm. The judges will add all of the scores together; the highest score wins and the loser does the dishes.
It was a close call, but first place goes to the team with the ramen cooking skills from around the world…AmeriThaiKong with 168 points! Jinpo is in a close second with 162 points, and Tojong comes in last with whopping 125 points for a dish that was a little too salty. The judges left a note that read, “Too much saltiness leaves you scoreless.” Ouch.
As the first place winners, AmeriThaiKong won the honor of (awkwardly) leading the group’s outro while Tojong solemnly washed the dishes.
And that concluded another episode of Real GOT7. Tune in every Wednesday on JYP’s official Naver channel or, for non-Korean speakers like myself, check out JYP’s official YouTube channel on Thursdays.
