After returning from spring break, Leesville students are already looking forward to summer. Summer is a time for high school students to relax and recharge for the following school year.
More times than not, calendars are filled with fun activities to maximize the fleeting summer days. This can lead to some conflicts– financial conflicts. Of course, students will have the infamous summer job, but when spending exceeds or matches earnings, troubles emerge.
But wait…Regal Theaters in Brier Creek has a fun opportunity that won’t break the bank for the students who love movies– specifically childrens movies.
While attempting to live life to the fullest over those summer days, students are less aware of what they have in their bank account. Students become painfully aware of their poor financial choices when they return to school unable to commit to lunch plans due to a lack of spending money. Packed lunches and staying on campus becomes an upper class man’s fate.
Movies will start at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for $1. Yes, you are reading this right, ONE DOLLAR. All movies are G or PG and are extremely entertaining for children’s movie lovers here at Leesville. The first movie will begin at 10am on June 14. See you there.
