Imagine a gorgeous landscape, with towering churches and open air markets along with endless cultural festivities and gorgeous beaches. Spain and Italy are the epitome of these characteristics, and are breathtaking to visit. This is what the 25 students who went on the Spain and Italy trip experienced this past summer.

When they left on June 27, they had no idea what would go on during the 9 day trip around the Mediterranean.

The trip included Barcelona, Spain, Assisi, Pisa, Rome and Florence. Along with the 25 students who attended, there were 4 chaperones: Mr. Hunt, Ms. Scioli, Mr. Ross and Ms. Dinkenor.

Erin LeBlanc, a senior, had been looking forward to traveling to Italy and Spain and viewing the different historical sites. “My favorite memory was the top of the bell tower in Assisi, Italy,” said LeBlanc.

Another attendee of the trip, Addison Bordeaux, also immensely enjoyed going to Europe. “I would definitely recommend this to others. It can be a little expensive but the experience is worth it. Not only did I get to see so many interesting things but I got to do it with friends too…everywhere we went was beautiful and completely different from America,” said Bordeaux, a senior.

If you’re looking for an chance to get out of your comfort zone, don’t hesitate to look for a trip abroad!
