Annually, closer to the holidays, Chick-fil-A releases their Peppermint Chip milkshake. According to Chick-fil-A, this dessert consists of their ice cream, chipped-up peppermint bark, and whipped cream and cherry on top.
The peppermint shake was first introduced in 2008 as mentioned by USA Today.
The shake was released back on November 13 and Chick-fil-A “will have it on their menus through January 6, 2024 (or while supplies last) at participating Chick-fil-A® restaurants nationwide,” said on Chick-fil-A’s website.
I tried this shake for the first time last year, (and had it again this year) and I was pleasantly surprised with the taste.
It tasted like it didn’t have too much or too little of the peppermint — just the right amount. It wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet like some desserts I’ve had in the past.
I could even taste the tiny peppermint bits that were blended in the shake.
If I had to rate Chick-fil-A’s milkshake, I would probably rate it a solid 8 out of 10. I think it’s worth it.
Overall, Chick-fil-A didn’t fail to satisfy me with their sweet festive milkshake. The peppermint gave it a Christmas vibe.
