The club showed their appreciation for St. Patrick’s Day by dedicating their performance to the holiday. Each participating member wore a green top hat to celebrate the shamrock theme.
The group even decided to invite a few guests from the crowd to sing. Sean Colbert-Lewis, junior, said “everyone is very supportive and kind … they’re very accommodating and professional which is awesome because I always like singing. I’d love to participate in future events.”
Songs performed by the club consist mostly of rock, songs from the A lunch set list included Life is a Highway by Rascal Flatts, Slither by Velvet Revolver, Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana, and many more.
“I really liked how the Pride Guitar Club can express themselves through their music,” said Zuzanna Wolak, junior.
“A key moment from the performance that I remember was the duet between Nina and Genesis, they ate. Their vocals were on point,” said Agust Love, junior.
The Pride Guitar Club is open to accepting new members. Contact Devlyn Upchurch by direct messaging on instagram, or talk to Mr. Yelverton or Mr. Bacon about getting involved today.
