Leesville loves “Days Before Rodeo”

Travis Scott, rap music icon, re-released Days Before Rodeo on all platforms. Travis Scott fans have been waiting long overdue to have access to his earliest hits.

The album has been published for over ten years, however, Travis Scott wanted to celebrate its tenth anniversary by making it available on all streaming platforms.

“The album is a classic and very good. Although it is not one of Travis’s best albums, it is still good and helped make Travis Scott famous,” said Brian Shin, senior.

In the album, Travis Scott invented a new kind of rap with his use of autotune and smooth transitions.

The album consists of 12 songs with features from Rich Homie Quan, Young Thug, The 1975, Big Sean, Migos, and Peewee Longway.

Notable songs on the album include: “Drugs You Should Try It,” “Skyfall,” “Mamacita,” and “Quintana Pt. 2.”

“My favorite songs on the album are “Drugs You Should Try It,””Zombies,” and “Sloppy Toppy,” said Jack Gajowski, junior. Travis Scott released new merchandise like clothes and vinyl to celebrate the album’s tenth anniversary — such items are found here.
