Leesville Road high school has made many different improvements over the summer with the help of the PTSA and students. One of which has been mulching outside in the common area.
The mulch has provided paths for students to walk on and has helped with further erosion of the ruts in the common area.
Over 20 students showed up to help with the school beautification projects as well as 11 parents and faculty members.
“I participated in the school beautification volunteer opportunity this past Saturday. We pulled weeds, spread mulch, and helped to clean up the front of the school. It was a great way to serve the community while also making our school clean and beautiful!” said Molly Zuberg, senior, via text.
This effort not only addressed a practical issue but also beautified the campus.
