On September 12, 2024 the Leesville Men’s Lacrosse Fall interest meeting was held for students who are interested in playing in the upcoming lacrosse season. During this meeting, student’s met this season’s coaches, the future players, and learned more about what the team and season will look like.
Coaches were there to help guide future players and prepare them for tryouts.
Marshall Woodward, sophomore, shares his thoughts, he said, “It’s important to attend the interest meetings if you want to play, you learn valuable information. You have to meet the coaches and meet the players to get to know them.”
Leesville sports provide opportunities to make friends, work together, and create connections. They foster an environment for players to enjoy physical activities. Sports may also allow students to learn to manage their time.
Tanner Young, freshman, said, “I liked going to the interesting meeting, I got to meet new people and it got me excited for the next season. I think other people should go, especially new students. I think other people should play lacrosse because it builds character, it’s fun, you get in shape too.”
The Leesville Lacrosse is always seeking new head coaches for both the varsity and junior varsity teams. If you have any recommendations, questions, or know potential candidates, please reach out to Coach Spear!
