If you’re a Pokémon fan or love card games, you’re in for a treat!

The Pokémon Company just released an exciting mobile game called Pokémon TCG Pocket, and players around the world are already hooked.

The game launched on October 30, 2024, and it’s free to download on iOS and Android.  

Pokémon TCG Pocket is based on the classic Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), which has been around since 1996.

In the original version, players collect cards featuring Pokémon, Trainers, and items, and use them to build decks for battles.

“The game is a lot of fun and the level of detail is great,” said Alex Connelly, senior.

This new mobile version brings the same card-battling action to your phone, but with a modern twist.  

The game has both single-player and multiplayer modes. You can battle AI opponents to practice your skills or challenge real players online.

One cool feature is the “Deck Builder,” which makes it super easy to customize your deck.

You can even earn in-game currency by completing challenges and use it to unlock new card packs.

The graphics are colorful and animated, bringing Pokémon battles to life in a way that feels exciting but also easy to understand for new players.  

“The game is nostalgic to me because it reminds me of my childhood when I used to open Pokémon packs as a kid,” said Eli Nelson, senior.

This isn’t the first Pokémon mobile game, but it’s the first one entirely focused on the TCG.

The game was developed by Creatures Inc., a company that has worked on Pokémon card games for years.

Fans have been waiting for a mobile TCG app, and Pokémon TCG Pocket doesn’t disappoint.  

Whether you’re a die-hard Pokémon fan or just getting into card games, this app is definitely worth checking out.
