Downtown Raleigh is a rich mixture of history and culture. In our current political, environmental, and societal climates, culture in the form of art has been popping up left and right across the area. While shops had to board up windows, artists across the city saw canvases to play with — which is exactly what they did. A supplement to the permanent murals scattered across the city, these pops of color brighten up the significantly quieter urban streets.
