Since President Trump announced he contracted COVID-19 on social media, there has been speculation on whether the President is actually doing as well as he lets on. The speculation has been met with many contradictory statements, but one surprising source has emerged during this controversy. This source is none other than Kellyanne Conway’s daughter, Claudia Conway.
Claudia released a TikTok on October 2 suspecting that her mother caught COVID-19 because her mom was “coughing all around the house”.
Just a day later, Conway confirmed her mother had the virus in another Tik Tok, which she added in the comments “she told me not to post this but i’m so furious please wear your masks guys.”
Kellyanne later came out the same day on Twitter saying that she caught the virus. She claimed to have mild symptoms and began “a quarantine process in consultation with physicians.”
Later on Monday night, Claudia posted a video retracting a claim that her mother had lied about a negative COVID test. “My mother claims that she did not lie to me. She had three tests done. First negative. Second two positive. We were not in communication. I misinterpreted it,” Claudia said.
The video did seem to come at the insistence of her mother since Kellyanne was speaking off-camera, “do it now’” Kellyanne said in the clip.
Claudia also commented on a post by user @brendanisugly claiming the President “is doing badly and they are doing what they can to stabilize him,” along with the comment “guys lmao he’s not doing “better”.” And while no one can prove the validity of her claims, it has made many people question what exactly is happening behind the scenes.
Overall, Claudia is now becoming an extremely relevant source when it comes to COVID in the political scene. Despite this though, there is no actual validity to her claims, especially since Kellyanne no longer works in the White House. Now everyone just has to see if Claudia was giving us valuable insight or a blind prediction.
