What’s Leaving Netflix By the End of 2020:

Some fan favorites like The Office, West Wing, and Gossip Girl are the hardest goodbyes this month. But with the thousands of other choices Netflix has, there should be another option for your personal entertainment. (Photo courtesy of public domain)

As one of the biggest streaming services in the world, Netflix continues to add new content every month to its library; but with this new content comes the removal of some fan favorites.

This is because Netflix licenses TV shows and movies from studios and content providers around the world, and those licenses expire with a rare chance Netflix will renew them. December is not just any month– It is the last month of the year, which means a lot of licensing deals are expiring.

If a title leaves Netflix, it’s because it wasn’t popular enough, was too costly to renew, or was snapped up by another streaming service prior to the expiration date. The good news is that some of our Netflix originals Black Mirror, Stranger Things, and House of Cards won’t be going anywhere.

There are a few big-names that are coming to Netflix by the end of 2020, titles such as Rango, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (Season 4), 50 First Dates, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and the series Jurassic Park
