The National College Fair will be visiting Raleigh next week on Tuesday, March 22. It will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center in exhibit hall C from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is open to all grades.
In order to attend the fair, students need to go to https://www.gotomyncf.com/ and sign up under Greater Raleigh. Admittance is free, and the form will only be shared with those colleges that you are interested in for the future.
The NCF encourages students to go to their website to watch the fair video and learn about different types of schools before attending. Also, they want students to know what schools are required to give information about.
Over 150 schools will be at the NCF for students and parents to visit. They will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with representatives to ask questions about the school and to go the counseling center to learn about majors. Students and parents can also attend a workshop to learn about testing, applying, athletics, choosing a school and much more.
For parents and students who worry about paying for college in the future, the resource center and workshop is a must. There will be information available about financial aid and scholarships. They also have information about the application process for first generation/multicultural students.
Universities from most states and a few internationals will be displayed at the fair. The variety even includes some specific programs like armed forces, arts, and religious schools.
Students who are interested in the National College Fair need to start signing up now. Read about the schools who are attending and choose a few to go look at. All grades are invited; it’s never to early to start looking at the future.
