The LRHS Art Honors society meets monthly on the third Monday of each month. Co-presidents Katie Carrigan, Keira Dillon, Lia Whitbeck, Clara Davis, Skyler Richards, Addy Marconi, Kenzie Cummings, Kennedi Cooper and Meghan Bailey work together to lead the club.
The National Art Honors Society (NAHS) officers and club members look forward to the upcoming year in the honors society. “I am excited to beautify the school with art this year… we are planning to make art for teachers’ classrooms and painting the senior wall this year,” said Keira Dillon, senior.
NAHS is available for students of all ages who have taken an honors art class. To maintain enrollment, honor society members must attend monthly meetings on the third Monday of each month as well as 10 art related service hours by the end of the academic year.
“I love getting to meet new people and spend time with my friends in Art Honors Society. It is always fun for us to hang out and draw together,” said Katie Carrigan, senior.
