Light Displays
Available from November 29, 2024 thru December 31, 2024, the Fieldstream Farm and Lights is a winter drive-through lights experience featuring over 2 million lights. Tickets are sold per vehicle and can be purchased here. Similarly, Piper’s Lights is a free drive through Christmas lights attraction based in Wake Forest. Along with this, the NC Chinese Lantern Festival at Koka Booth Amphitheater is an annual pop-up event showcases the beauty of Chinese culture through a massive display of lanterns, LED displays, and performances. Experiences
Located in Cary, NC Fenton shopping and dining center hosts an annual “Skate the Square” ice skating event. People of all ages are invited to ice skate at the heart of the Fenton shopping center through February 9. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here.
Located in Durham, NC, the Unscripted hotel provides a unique experience to dine in an igloo. This winter wonderland experience is available for up to 10 guests in a VIP igloo, and guests are invited to dine either for brunch or dinner in the igloo. Entertainment
The Carolina Ballet will perform its rendition of The Nutcracker from December 12-24 at the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium. As a classic Christmas story, the performance is a perfect way to blend traditional holiday charm with a timeless ballet. The North Carolina Symphony will perform a holiday themed “Candlelight Christmas” performance from December 20 to 22. A perfect way to embrace the holiday season, the symphony will perform an array of classic holiday songs such as Angels We Have Heard on High, O Come, All Ye Faithful, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, selections from The Nutcracker, and more alongside the North Carolina Master Chorale Youth Choir.
