Concerts are a popular event for all age groups, especially teenagers and young adults. Many high school students find value in experiencing live music through the atmosphere, energy, and livelihood of the venue.
Although some may consider concerts to be a pricy event, and not always worth the cost, others see it as a great way to spend their money and time. Experiences and memories are great ways to commemorate different times throughout one’s life, and live in the moment.
A great way to save money with concert experiences is to purchase lawn tickets and not eat at the event. Lawn tickets come with the option to stand, bring a towel to sit on, or rent chairs, rather than purchasing seat tickets.
Many high schoolers enjoy the energy of the lawn at concerts, as it is a great way to meet new people and hang out with friends while appreciating the music.
“I love going to concerts because of the fun atmosphere, the exciting crowd, and upbeat music of any genre,” said Ava Neuheimer, senior.
Leesville students are frequent visitors of the nearby Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek. This amphitheater is located about 15 miles southeast of the Leesville area.
With a wide range of musical talent and styles, comes a variety of musical preferences and desires. Some may prefer a pop style of music, while others may choose to listen to country or alternative.
No matter the preference, there are plenty of concert options available near Raleigh and the Leesville area.
